Specifically designed for beginners (7-12 years), RiverCity's Junior Sharks program is perfect for kids who are strong swimmers and love balls sports. With Head Coach, Dmitry Gorshkov bringing Olympic level experience to the program, this is a great way for your child to start their water polo journey.

The cost is $90 for the following 6-week program:

• 9-10am on Sunday 19/7, 26/7, 2/8 & 16/8 at Somerville House Aquatic Centre
• 1-2pm on Sunday 9/8 & 23/8 still at Somerville.

If you wish to play in the 2026/27 season, U12 summer trials will take place

• for girls 16th and 30th of August 9-10:30am at Somerville
• for boys 30th of August and 13th of September 10:30-12pm at Somerville

Please attend both of these trial sessions as you can, but missing one is not a problem - for example all those girls playing the Gold Coast Fun 5's will miss the 16th trial session. If you can't attend either session please contact registrar@rivercitywaterpolo.com

At the Winter Training Term 3 event you can see the full term 3 schedule. Included on the 13th of September from 9-10:30am is a miniture competition for getting game experience prior to the season. All U12s entering the season are envited to come and have fun.

Participants in our Junior Sharks programs are required to register as club members for $10 per year (resets September 1 every year). Please register as Bronze Junior members using the following link prior to signing up for this program:
