Gold Coast Water Polo is running its Fun 5s event at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, and RiverCity would love to hear from players who are keen to get involved.

RiverCity has attended this tournament both times it has been held, and it has been an excellent experience each time. It is a fun, friendly, well-run event that gives younger players a great chance to enjoy water polo in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

This is especially suitable for players who are newer to the sport, still building confidence, or keen to try a tournament-style event without the pressure of a full competition. Players do not need to be experienced water polo players to express interest. Newer players are very welcome and encouraged, we'll provide training and coaching.

This is a great opportunity for our younger players, especially our Junior Sharks in the U10 age group, and for U12s preparing for the summer season. The event is designed to be fun and friendly, giving developing players valuable game experience in a supportive environment.

The focus is on having fun, learning, giving it a go, and playing as part of a team.

RiverCity is now seeking expressions of interest from U10 and U12 players - this is a fantastic chance to jump in, have a go, meet teammates, and build confidence in the pool.
