🏝️ Expression of Interest Open – Gold Coast Water Polo U12 Fun 5’s (2025)

We’re excited to invite RiverCity families to register their interest in taking part in the Gold Coast Water Polo U12 Fun 5’s – a fun and friendly one-day water polo event designed especially for younger players.

🗓️ Event Details:

Date: Sunday, 24 August 2025

Venue: Gold Coast Aquatic Centre

Divisions:

• U10 – players born in 2015, 2016, 2017, or 2018

• U12 – players born in 2013, 2014, or 2015

  (Players born in 2015 can be eligible for either age group)

This is a great opportunity for our younger players, especially our Junior Sharks in U10, and for U12 players gearing up for the summer season. The format is designed to encourage participation, with small teams, modified rules, and a fun, supportive environment.

🐠 About Fun 5’s

• Max 8 players per team

• 4 field players + 1 goalkeeper in the water

• Smaller field (20m x 16m)

• No shot clock, no direct shots after a foul

• Exclusions swim to the corner and then return

Players must have minimum Bronze level WPA registration to participate - only $10 if you don't already have it.
